LIFE OUTSIDE DESIGN
In true island style, I keep it really simple and laid-back. For me, it revolves around spending time with family/friends and being outdoors. As a self-proclaimed waterman, I’m happiest in the ocean—whether I'm surfing, freediving, fishing, or paddling outrigger canoes. One of my ultimate goals is to one day paddle across the Ka'iwi Channel from Molokai to Oahu.

I start every project by digging into the goals, the constraints, and the real problem underneath the request — then map out a path the whole team can actually follow. That clarity is what lets complex projects move fast without losing direction.

Before touching a solution, I dig into the real problem underneath the request, so the work that follows actually solves something.
AI-Accelerated Process
In keeping up with the times, I use AI tools to move faster without cutting corners, speeding up discovery, research, and iteration so more time goes toward solving the real problem, not busywork.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
I work as the strategic anchor between teams, translating between stakeholders, designers, and developers so everyone's building towards the same goal.
